BDS (Business Development Services)

Concept of Best Practice Lab

The main function of the Best Practice Lab is collecting, analyzing, documenting and disseminating knowledge about experience and best practices regarding BDS market development (by sectors, sub-sectors, clients and income groups, gender, regions, special BDS products such as export-related training, business information services etc.).

Best Practice Lab

Relevant stakeholders from development cooperation organizations are encouraged participating in the development and operation of the Best Practice Lab. The Best Practice Lab will be linked to similar initiatives globally.

Beside operating and linking this dynamic database of experiences and know-how, the Best Practice Lab will facilitate the development and operation of a sector-wide monitoring system.

Furthermore, innovative BDS market development tools will be developed and/or introduced in Ghana.

Under the auspices of the Best Practice Lab, the MSME-development community in Ghana will organize a BDS promotion event with international outreach, which would not only serve the development of the BDS market in Ghana, but will also strengthen its international ties to similar development initiatives. SPEED Ghana will take a leading role in this by facilitating the concept of such an event, take responsibility to establish the programme, ensure participation of a diverse group of national and international stakeholders, and ensure the involvement from and benefit for the target group of SPEED.
